The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in power within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then settled his debts and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could help the team access areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them little choice but to head to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can anticipate discovering which players will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
